The publication is a joint project of the BP, The Smithsonian Institution, The Georgian National Museum, The Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography in Baku, and Gazi University. It represents the rich cultural heritage of the region, which has been discovered by the international archeologists during the building process of the pipeline. The gift encloses letter from Grigol Gvaladze, Director of the Foreign Affairs Department at the BP. The head of the project was Nino Erkomaishvili, cultural heritage advisor BP Georgia.
