This collection of maps was discovered by Fatih Sultan Mehmed and translated into Ottoman Turkish. It was re-discovered and carefully preserved while the Topkapı Palace was being transformed into a museum during the Republic era. The facsimile is being presented to the the science community for the first time in nearly 700 years. Topkapı Palace Museum İstanbul / Turkey Non-Islamic Works (GI) registered with number 57. Consists of 2 books.
