With a selection of the works of contemporaneous artists who were influenced by one another and 'rediscovered' in Russia in the mid 1990s, 'Quiet Resistence - Pictorialism in Russian Photography' presents to viewers a segment from the development of Russian art at the turn of the 20th century, as well as a glimpse into the country's cultural history. The exhibition is comprised of 194 outstanding vintage prints by 18 renowned Russian photographers, including Alexander Rodchenko, Sergei Lobovikov, Alexander Grinberg and Yuri Yeremin, whose works extend from 1898 to the 1940s.
