The introduction presents the details of the catalogue as well as general introduction on Byzantine lead seals. The catalogue presents the seals arranged under six titles: Imperial court, administrative, private, bifacial, anonymous, and incerti. The evaluation is followed by annexes including glossary, abbreviations, bibliography, detailed index, tables and monogram lists.
